Dennings was in a romance in a relationship with Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") in 2011 through 2014. She began dating Josh Groban shortly after they broke up. They remained together until the year 2016. Dennings began dating musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. They soon started getting together. They announced their engagement to each other in May 2021. Dennings, a musician fan since 2014, was Dennings's first crush. Dennings is Jewish and was brought up in an Jewish family. Dennings says that, although she might have been born Jewish but her faith does not play a major role in her life. Her interests include reading, gardening as well as painting.
