She was born in Santa Monica, California on 26 November 1986. The father of the singer, Vincenzo Barba is the mother of Valerie Barba. Her family relocated into Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was just six years old. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she completed her education formal at the time in New Jersey. She graduated from Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. From the age of 4 when she started playing the violin, earning her the name Violin Girl. Performances by her led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. She also worked as a violin teacher for the children of the surrounding area. When she turned 19, she performed Free 1976 American Idol in the 6th season. However, she was removed from the show after achieving 16th place. She has performed many songs including 2009's "The The Christmas Carol" and the 2010's Out for Blood. She has also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. She began her career as a film actress after being eliminated from American Idol after six seasons. According to Daily Mail reports on November 21st of 2019, she was sentenced to almost 4 years in jail for conspiring to spread fentanyl. In July, the singer confessed to possessing more than 400 grams fentanyl in her possession with an intent to sell it.
