She was born in Santa Monica, California on 26 November 1986. The father of the singer, Vincenzo Barba is the mother of Valerie Barba. Her family relocated into Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was just six years old. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she completed her education formal at the time in New Jersey. She graduated from Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. From the age of 4 when she started playing the violin, earning her the name Violin Girl. Performances by her led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. She also worked as a violin teacher for the children of the surrounding area. When she turned 19, she performed Free 1976 American Idol in the 6th season. However, she was removed from the show after achieving 16th place.
