Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and subsequently went on a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of each fight. After that, she went to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking her revenge on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia lost to Aspen through a unanimous decision. This left a mark on the amateur record of Ladd. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight with a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the second round. Aspen made use of her superlative wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. In her last bout for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to take the win via TKO in the second round. She came back to her winning ways and scored an even impressive win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute she was awarded a bonus for the performance of the night. Her first major fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters earned an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie broke Ladd's streak of winning within 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC broadcast on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a substitute fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
