Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, an American stage and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her role as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received an B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actor also known as producer and director. She is employed in film and television. She began acting on stage and went onto appear in mainstream, independent and television series. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made an appearance in BET's epic television series The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she made her acting debut in The Tempest as Ariel. On Broadway, she has appeared on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Her film work is highlighted by her performances on Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. She is also well-known for her part in ABC's crime show High Incident.
